Transcript for 5.16: Second Citadel--The Indomitable Duelist (Part 2)

SPEAKER_09

00:00 - 05:06

Hi, Travis. Kevin here, and believe it or not, we are cruising towards the end of the Juno and second Citadel series, which is wild. That's a lot throughout my head around. Hopefully it's not news to you that this is the final season of Juno and second Citadel, but if it is welcome, we only have a few stories left. So what we wanted to do is we wanted to sort of give you a broad outline of what the release schedule for those stories will be. If you are subscribed to our online newsletter, which is on Patreon, this is all going to be repeating information. If you're not subscribed to our online newsletter, why not? It's free. Just head on over to patreon.com slash to put on a podcast. You can join. You can follow us for free. And every other week or so, you'll get access to a traveler's log, a newsletter, where we update you on news and Harley and I write a little thing about our creative process each time. And we give you recommendations for things we've been watching reading playing. You get some recommendations from the cast and crew. It's a great time. And especially where the These shows are coming to a close fairly soon if you want updates on what we're planning next. What we're going to do next because we are not disappearing off the face of the planet, at least it's not a my schedule. I'm not planning and disappearing off the face of the planet. The best way to do that is to follow us over there because we will keep you updated every step of the way. So if you are morning, like I am, the endings of these shows and you are looking forward to the next thing. Make sure you go on over to patreon.com slash the penoverpodcast, join us for free. That's enough, uh, himming and or highing, though. Let's jump into it. Let's talk about the release schedule through rest of the season. So these are broad dates over the course of April to May. You can expect the next second citadel story, the fall parts one and two. From May to June, you can expect another Juno story. I'm not going to give you the title yet. You're going to have to be patient. Then from June to July, we'll be the second citadel finale. And the end of July slash early August will be the Juno steel finale. That is how close we are. We are cruising towards, end of July early August. This eight year set of stories is coming to an end, which is wild. It's hard for me to wrap my head around. Because we are so close to the end, I do have to ask if you have ever thought about supporting the Pneumbron Patreon, if you've ever thought about supporting us financially, if you have a friend or a family member or anybody else who has thought about supporting us financially, now's the time. It is not easy for me to ask for money, it's tough. But I do have to say our support is flagged a little bit over the course of the season on Patreon. And we are sort of right on the knife's edge of being able to continue to do this and being able to do the next things that we want to do, the next big secret projects that we want to do. We get exit surveys from Patreon that say why people have stopped pledging. And for the vast majority of everybody, it has been financial situations changing. It's a tough time to be a person right now. So really don't stretch yourself past a point that is safe for you to pledge or up your pledge. I would I would feel just awful if anybody did that. But if you have any spare income that you're willing to send our way of our stories have meant something to you, if you want to show us that they've meant something to you, if you want to see the next thing that we make. Now's the time. And you get access to, at this point, a frankly insane amount of bonus content. At the $7 level, you get access to all of the production scripts, which are always full of bonus stuff behind the scenes stuff. And at the $10 level, you get access to like hundreds of hours of commentaries at this point that range from actually serious. This is how we make the show type stuff. and extremely silly breathing with the boys, Lord Arm fan cast type stuff. So it would just mean the world to us if you could support us and help us out. It is no exaggeration to say that the only thing that I want to do with my life is make stories, make stuff for you all to see. And that's only going to be possible if our support keeps up. And I know it's going to, it's going to fall a little bit after the end of June on a second, so I don't know. So, anything that you can do to show that you are going to stick with us, that you're going to help us out, will make our next projects more likely stronger, better, harder, better, faster, stronger, et cetera. And thank you so much. If you're already pledging, thank you so much for listening. It's crazy that we've got to do this as long as we have. And I'm so, so grateful for it. That's enough of that, though. You all have a story to get to. So, I will see you later, and I'll see you in not too long for the finale's to these stories. Good evening, Traveller. And welcome to the Penumbra. Tonight's tale is the indomitable duelist.

SPEAKER_05

05:06 - 05:13

We have to stop. Lamb, it's that we have to stop. What?

SPEAKER_04

05:13 - 05:19

Well, well, we can't stop here. If this fire keeps going, these trees are going to start falling any minute.

SPEAKER_05

05:19 - 05:25

That's just why we have to stop them. I can't leave Caroline behind. It's not right.

SPEAKER_04

05:25 - 05:31

I don't know what to tell you. She told us to run. She doesn't want us to get in the way of her fight with that. Whoever that was.

SPEAKER_05

05:31 - 05:43

that which is named Plany Lamb. And she and Caroline have been in love for years. Like, I can't believe Gwani would have really hurt her. Not on purpose anyway. We have to go back and check on her.

SPEAKER_04

05:43 - 05:59

We have to... The fire. It's gone. Why? What the hell was that?

SPEAKER_05

05:59 - 06:03

That sounds like Plany. Kwon Yi!

SPEAKER_04

06:03 - 06:10

Hey, Ola, wait up!

SPEAKER_05

06:10 - 06:25

Kwon Yi, where are you? I think I see your lamb, and she's carrying Caroline! Oh, little girl!

SPEAKER_02

06:25 - 06:28

I can't see you!

SPEAKER_14

06:28 - 06:29

I can't see you!

SPEAKER_05

06:34 - 06:41

Oh no. Oh those burns. She isn't dead. Is she?

SPEAKER_04

06:41 - 06:47

Not yet, but from the look of her right say she's not far off. It's uh, Kuan Yi, right?

SPEAKER_14

06:47 - 06:56

Put her down carefully so I can take a look.

SPEAKER_04

06:56 - 07:13

Since she's covered in burns. And her breathing doesn't sound good either. She must have held a lot of smoke. Hey, Bonnie. Bonnie, come on, last day with you now. You know when you're healing magic, I've got a little first aid, but her chances will be much better.

SPEAKER_02

07:13 - 07:22

But I'm not good at healing magic. It would take all my guns to Jason just to clear up what we've prepared and it will come back as soon as it's finished.

SPEAKER_04

07:24 - 07:26

It's okay, then I need you to.

SPEAKER_02

07:26 - 07:51

It's like an healing magic because I didn't think it was in the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end of the end.

SPEAKER_04

07:53 - 08:00

If we're going to save Caroline, I need you to... Damn it, where'd the witch go?

SPEAKER_05

08:00 - 08:09

She just disappeared. Damn, is Caroline going to... Not if I have anything to say about it.

SPEAKER_04

08:10 - 08:13

Olala, I need you to stay here with Caroline.

SPEAKER_05

08:13 - 08:14

What? Where are you going?

SPEAKER_04

08:14 - 08:36

I'm gonna run back to the witches camp we stayed in last night when you medical supplies, some cloth for bandages, maybe for lucky they'll be some old magic poltises lying around. A sled too, we'll need a sled to move her, or in like that, or skin as to delicate for us to carry her or leave her in the snow. Don't let her move, and if she's thirsty, melt so snow before you give it to her. I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?

SPEAKER_05

08:36 - 08:37

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

08:37 - 08:40

You can do this. We're going to get her out of here, I promise.

SPEAKER_05

08:47 - 09:07

Caroline, will this so important to hide for me that you burned for it? Caroline, are you okay? What are you pointing at? Don't move.

SPEAKER_10

09:07 - 09:15

Don't talk of that mountain. My plan. We have to get to the top of that mountain and can't.

SPEAKER_05

09:15 - 09:21

Your plan has to wait. Your perk. We need to get you to a doctor or... There's no time.

SPEAKER_10

09:21 - 09:28

Nothing matters. Nothing. If we don't get to the top of that mountain, swear you'll bring me there.

SPEAKER_05

09:29 - 09:39

What Caroline? I swear it's like what? Okay Caroline. I swear it.

SPEAKER_10

09:39 - 09:47

Good. That's my good. Caroline.

SPEAKER_05

09:47 - 09:49

Caroline. Caroline.

SPEAKER_12

10:03 - 10:10

The Senate has voted to allow you an audience, humans. Follow me.

SPEAKER_03

10:10 - 10:14

Okay, so they decided not to kill us. That's good, right?

SPEAKER_16

10:14 - 10:42

That has to be good. It's a first step anyway. So, what's our plan? I can do most of the talking. I've had to talk in front of a group of monsters before. Oh, I'm doing that. I think you should watch the crowd. Watch the crowd. What do you mean? Damian's right that there must be peaceful monsters in the Senate. But that doesn't make the war hungry once endless dangerous. If we know which ones to watch out for, we might have a better chance of hitting the majority on our side.

SPEAKER_03

10:42 - 10:48

That's true. The senators that plan everything at Fort Terminists must be here too. I'll try and figure who they are.

SPEAKER_12

10:55 - 11:13

make way for the human emissaries of Lord Ahram of the swamp of Titans' blooms. Humans, do you understand why you stand before us today?

SPEAKER_16

11:13 - 11:15

We have Lord Arms OsterCon.

SPEAKER_06

11:15 - 11:24

That gives us the right to... An OsterCon gives a monster the right to vote in our Senate. It confers no rights at all to a human.

SPEAKER_12

11:24 - 11:34

Senator Gunklar will wait until he is called upon to voice his opinion. Continue, human. I don't think that one likes us.

SPEAKER_16

11:36 - 11:48

We have important news to share with you all. We've recently come from Silver Shore, a city in the far reaches of the Wayward East. We don't know what they have planned, not exactly, but there are invaders there.

SPEAKER_12

11:48 - 11:52

Senator Prima Donna of the Sirens has the floor.

SPEAKER_02

11:52 - 11:59

That's what I was looking for, love a moment tonight, day in which I'm to you.

SPEAKER_12

12:00 - 12:15

Senator Primadana will be reminded that after last year's Viasco, there will be no singing allowed on the Senate floor. Mind control magic impinges on personal freedoms.

SPEAKER_02

12:15 - 12:24

Oh, all right. Did you ever end up figuring out how to kiss that lizard human and don't skimp on the juicy details?

SPEAKER_16

12:24 - 12:33

That's who's kind of personal? I... That's not why we're here. We're here on Lord Arms behalf to warn you all.

SPEAKER_12

12:33 - 12:38

Reluctantly, Senator Guncler of the Muckman has the floor.

SPEAKER_06

12:38 - 12:47

Human. This is definitely a sneaky human plot to infiltrate our Senate and make a mockery of our month by culture.

SPEAKER_16

12:48 - 12:54

Look, I'm trying to explain if you don't want to listen to us. Why did you bother granting us an audience in the first place?

SPEAKER_12

12:54 - 12:58

Senator, big shot of the Turpsacores has the floor?

SPEAKER_03

12:58 - 13:21

Listen, baby candycains, can I call you candycains? Let's face it candycains. Now everybody's got their star quality, but you're a star. You're shining, brilliant blind in the day I happened to my eyes on fire. And your trial in the trial of Lord Arram here, who we get, the picture was the entertainment event of the season a few years ago. Could we have said no to an encore? No, we could not.

SPEAKER_12

13:21 - 13:29

No, we could not. Senator R692-352 of the tin contraptions has the floor.

SPEAKER_01

13:29 - 13:41

It is also the opinion of many senators including myself. Lord Arram is old and a prodigy for his punishment. At this time, at the front, at the front, at the front.

SPEAKER_06

13:41 - 13:54

Well, fraud with this fake hat. Holocaust was instrumental in our attack on that Citadel's Queen, an attack but nearly succeeded. I will remind my colleagues.

SPEAKER_02

13:54 - 14:13

But the universe only knows how much damage that gigantic terror bug would have done if those humans hadn't stopped. It killed our only hork warriors, trotter and porcus. They were your own, invincible teams and it are snout yet you sit there and say nothing.

SPEAKER_13

14:13 - 14:18

That has loved me, proven definitively.

SPEAKER_03

14:18 - 14:21

Definitively? Well, come on then, snout.

SPEAKER_06

14:21 - 14:32

Where are the universe out of there? Snout doesn't have to take this. I don't have to take this. By the garbage in my blood, I demand respect.

SPEAKER_14

14:35 - 14:40

Long it!

SPEAKER_12

14:40 - 15:10

Quiet please quiet! Senator Fuzz was of the teddy bear parade has the floor. I would like to motion for all of us to gather around in one big hut. I can't help but it's just so cool. This is a disaster. Maybe later Senator Phas was. First we have to listen to what these filthy humans have to say.

SPEAKER_16

15:12 - 15:28

Okay, could you all just please listen to us? There are invaders from over the edge of the world human invaders and I don't know what they have planned specifically, but I know they want to kill all of us and all of you every monster in the universe

SPEAKER_03

15:29 - 15:35

But every human morning is dead. What else is new? You catch my drift. That's been the northern monster story for centuries.

SPEAKER_16

15:35 - 15:46

These ones are worse. They have machines, awful machines, anti-magic machines. Machines that can turn a beautiful city like silver short into sand and rubble.

SPEAKER_06

15:46 - 15:57

By tomorrow, she wants us to believe and show our shore. but tail for hatchlings. Say that one more time, 10 men, one more time.

SPEAKER_12

15:57 - 16:16

Why it? Senator, a big gross pile of moss of the likenade has the floor. Senator, clock, would you please move the esteemed senators wheelbarrow closer to the soundstone?

SPEAKER_08

16:23 - 16:30

We have the life and it have noticed changes in the soil that alone with the humans weren't.

SPEAKER_06

16:30 - 16:34

My soil, with always soil, with milk, my church.

SPEAKER_12

16:34 - 16:42

Senator Gunkler, you will show respect to a big gross pile of moss. Please continue, Senator.

SPEAKER_08

16:43 - 17:23

There is also natural magic in the soil, a little fleeting. Some thing, perhaps one of these invaders machines, is leaching magic from the universe. And perhaps it is always soil, with us jungler, with all begin this soil, and all ends as soil. Oh, the universe is skin. It feeds the plant, they feed the beast, they feed all else. If we do not have the magic to sustain this form, all magical life in the universe, you fall.

SPEAKER_12

17:26 - 17:31

Senator R692352 of the tin contraptions has the floor.

SPEAKER_01

17:31 - 17:50

My gear's turn slower as a flight at a rate of negative 0.02% acceleration per revolution constructs add familiarers will be the first to fall as magic waves die universe. I'm scared.

SPEAKER_02

17:50 - 17:57

What are we supposed to do? Someone protects Senator Fuss was someone! Anyone!

SPEAKER_03

17:57 - 18:10

Rilla, do you see that Senator right over there? The one with the big tusks? The one they call Senator Snot? Yeah, he hasn't said much, but he keeps whispering to that Senator Gunther, and he's been looking really angry the whole time.

SPEAKER_16

18:10 - 18:12

Do you think he planned everything at Fort Terminus 2?

SPEAKER_03

18:13 - 18:20

If he did, I think he's smart enough to know that the other senators don't want to hear from him right now. Smarter than Senator Guncler anyway.

SPEAKER_16

18:20 - 18:23

So he's the brains. We'll have to be careful.

SPEAKER_08

18:23 - 18:32

These humans are the only ones who claim to have seen the invaders. We say we should follow no guidance.

SPEAKER_03

18:32 - 18:36

They must have come here for some reason, get to the point, candy case.

SPEAKER_06

18:36 - 18:40

But right, we have lost time coming on for a reason, humans.

SPEAKER_03

18:40 - 18:54

Shut it out. We came here to suggest an alliance. You all aren't strong enough to beat the off-worlders, but neither is the second Citadel, so we think you should work together. I'm sorry, I just couldn't handle all the fighting.

SPEAKER_06

18:54 - 19:06

I'm not wrong. I'm not wrong. I'm not wrong. Please, don't look.

SPEAKER_13

19:06 - 20:13

I love me. I believe we have all given these humans more than a fair chance to speak better peace. It's true that this was a favor we owed to Lord. Our own. But a favor can only exist so far. He to suggest that we ally ourselves with Lord's return called you murderers. The second said it now. I'm here. Of all places, the season does set it as convene for near the sight of the massacre in the waves. There comes a point when saying nothing. While others insult you is only a way of insulting yourself.

SPEAKER_16

20:15 - 20:26

No, please, we're just trying to help. If the off-worlders get their weapons together and bring them here, then everybody, every human and monster is going to die.

SPEAKER_03

20:26 - 20:37

Then it's another human twic! Just like those police silly brothers! No, you don't get it! We just want to be like ambassadors! You never have to talk to the second Citadel.

SPEAKER_13

20:37 - 20:49

We'll do all the talking for you, and pass the doors. You listen to them. The insults never say. Stop with these insolent human!

SPEAKER_16

20:49 - 21:05

But it's true! If you'll give us a chance, I really think we can do it. If you just listen, then we can talk to the people in the Western Wastes, and the Southern Frass, and we'll talk to the Queen of the Second City, and- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh- Oh-

SPEAKER_08

21:06 - 21:22

Who the life you need to remember? It was human and vegetables. It caused the first human betrayal amongst a kind. Human and vegetables that led to the Mexican land. The massacre in the waves. The massacre in the sky.

SPEAKER_01

21:22 - 21:31

And the humans laugh those traitor so much. They call them saints. Centuries are fast, and we may only recover whatever relax.

SPEAKER_06

21:31 - 21:33

The seats? See? I just did it.

SPEAKER_16

21:33 - 21:40

Please stop. If we could just talk about this, we're just trying to help please.

SPEAKER_03

21:40 - 21:47

I would like to motion for executing the humans at dawn by gross disambulment.

SPEAKER_12

21:47 - 21:52

Oh, and favor of the esteemed senator fuzz was his proposal.

SPEAKER_13

21:54 - 22:30

And I would like the motion to expand our war efforts to include all humans, including these humans from over the world's edge. Let those killers in the second Citadel Lay in the place at the time for their stand-off heat with the human invaders. We will be there with fine and claw ready to slaughter which at our side. So fives.

SPEAKER_12

22:30 - 22:47

All in favor of the esteemed senator snouts proposal. No, no, no, no, no. Then it is decided. The monster Senate will reconvene at dawn with the execution of these human upstarts.

SPEAKER_03

22:58 - 23:07

So, um, um, that didn't go so well.

SPEAKER_16

23:07 - 23:10

Didn't go so well? Really tall?

SPEAKER_03

23:10 - 23:11

I was just making conversation.

SPEAKER_16

23:11 - 23:43

I don't think I've ever seen anything go worse. We came here to find reinforcements for the war against the off-worlders. And all we did was make the war even bigger. We added another army. We're so doomed. And not just us either. Everyone is. And everything we try and do, telling the queen and telling the monster Senate, it's all just made things worse. I don't know what to do, tout. Everything feels so hopeless, pointless.

SPEAKER_03

23:43 - 23:47

Well, look on the bright side.

SPEAKER_16

23:47 - 23:52

What bright side? What could possibly be the bright side here?

SPEAKER_15

23:55 - 24:02

You fool, my villa. So tell him, it's high, then you in the palace, here for your rescue.

SPEAKER_03

24:02 - 24:11

Damian, boy, Michael had to see you. You seem a real good spirit, Stamian. Do you have a way to get us out of here?

SPEAKER_15

24:11 - 24:16

Of course I do, friend Talvin, and I found something much more important than that.

SPEAKER_16

24:16 - 24:19

Maybe this can wait until after we're free.

SPEAKER_15

24:19 - 24:47

Ah, yes, of course. Luckily, it seems you did label several popping pods in Lord Arum's workshop, my villa, for I have this. A steel eater fly trap. The bars do your cell window. Take my hand and climb through quickly. My villa, are you coming?

SPEAKER_16

24:47 - 24:49

What? Yeah, I'm coming.

SPEAKER_15

24:55 - 25:05

Yeah, and now, with both of you successfully freed from the Senate's lair, I can share the tale of my adventure while you were imprisoned and the great Boonei discovered.

SPEAKER_16

25:05 - 25:11

They had guards right outside our cell. They'll be pointless to rescue us if all three of us get caught right now.

SPEAKER_15

25:11 - 25:24

Too right, my love. We shall away. I can't read this again longer. I must tell you what I found. It is a great import in our quest in our history at all.

SPEAKER_16

25:24 - 25:28

I can hear someone coming. It looks like two of their senators, snap and gunkle.

SPEAKER_15

25:28 - 25:34

Oh, very well. And I will hide if we must.

SPEAKER_06

25:34 - 25:53

It's not just quite clinking on the floor, but it is now. More humans to fight against. The Senate will see soon enough that Northern monster cannot live until every human is snuffed. Well, how did you think of it so quickly?

SPEAKER_13

25:53 - 26:04

To tell you of the truth, Dunkler, here I was aware of these off-world cut invaders before the humans ever spoke of them.

SPEAKER_06

26:04 - 26:05

Well, thoroughly not.

SPEAKER_13

26:06 - 26:47

My spies in the Citadel had already informed me about a strange device called an arrow plane, which crashed land in there recently. It seems to be a very formidable weapon. Within a lock the war will continue another thousand The Millennium of War, I can smell the blood already. War home weapons will be in high demand for years to come.

SPEAKER_06

26:47 - 26:54

And think of all the precious garbage when that citadel fall. When it fall.

SPEAKER_13

27:01 - 27:24

My spies even turned me when the city dwell plans to battle these good invaders and we will be there really who sperm them on come come come come senders in those humans has given me quite a few

SPEAKER_15

27:29 - 27:33

My, they seem unsavory.

SPEAKER_16

27:33 - 27:36

The Senate? Didn't go so well, Damien.

SPEAKER_15

27:36 - 27:51

The Senate? Oh, ah, yes, the Senate. Well, that hardly matters any longer. I have found information that has changed our course completely, my love. The key to a relic that could destroy those people from over the edge of the world for good. Really?

SPEAKER_03

27:51 - 27:52

What is it, Damien?

SPEAKER_15

27:52 - 27:56

You'll never believe me. I'll try. Oh, it's incredible friend, Alfred.

SPEAKER_16

27:56 - 27:58

Really? Just say it, Damien.

SPEAKER_15

27:59 - 28:09

Saint Damian Spear, one of the saints three relics from the fall of the first Citadel. I know precisely where it hidden, and the location is close by.

SPEAKER_03

28:10 - 28:14

But I thought St. David's spirit was lost. Like St. Ferdinand's slingshot.

SPEAKER_15

28:14 - 28:38

It was. But while I was searching for the cell where the monster sent it would be holding the two of you, I overheard some monsters discussing the spear. Evidently they have stowed it away in a cave close to here. But if we were to retrieve it. Oh, just think of it. A relic capable of slaying, a lake full of monsters would surely be useful in a battle against those invaders from over the world's edge.

SPEAKER_16

28:38 - 28:41

Sling of like full of monsters.

SPEAKER_03

28:41 - 28:44

Do you think that's what the senators meant by the massacre in the waves?

SPEAKER_15

28:44 - 28:58

So, Damian must have had his reasons. Come, follow me. But Damian... I was able to find the cave myself, and so St. Damian's spear is nearly in our grasp. Come, quickly, quickly. Really?

SPEAKER_16

28:58 - 29:02

I can't think of any better ideas, can you?

SPEAKER_03

29:02 - 29:03

No, I guess not.

SPEAKER_04

29:18 - 29:22

How's she holding up back there, Ola?

SPEAKER_05

29:22 - 29:27

Carolite's burns have improved since you put that pole dishonor, but her breathing still doesn't sound good.

SPEAKER_04

29:27 - 29:44

When we got lucky that the hayburnin' which just kept the potions of the ground, without that healing cream, I'll just show you what to do this Ola. It's not too late for us to turn back to that village. Going down this mountain would be a hell of a lot easier than going up it.

SPEAKER_05

29:44 - 29:56

She sounded so sure about coming up here that she made me swear it. That doesn't mean. Dude, he beat a ticket to her pool in the sled. I could take the form of a booth for a bear and it would be easy for me.

SPEAKER_04

29:56 - 30:13

You stay right where you are all alone. If you want Caroline to pull through this, the most important thing is to keep a warm. You can grow forward to do that, I can't. Sounded like thunder.

SPEAKER_05

30:13 - 30:20

Damn it, it's a blizzard.

SPEAKER_04

30:20 - 30:26

It must be a magical storm. We'll just have to push through as fast as we can. Hold on tight a little off.

SPEAKER_14

30:37 - 30:49

What is it, Lam?

SPEAKER_05

30:49 - 30:51

Lam, why did you stop?

SPEAKER_04

30:51 - 30:58

I can't move another step. I feel so heavy.

SPEAKER_05

31:07 - 31:11

He's unconscious. Lamb, wake up. Lamb. Look at him, right?

31:11 - 31:13

Look at him, right? Look at him, right?

SPEAKER_05

31:13 - 31:24

Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right? Look at him, right?

SPEAKER_14

31:24 - 31:28

Look at him, right? Look at him, right?

31:28 - 31:30

Look at him, right?

SPEAKER_09

31:30 - 31:31

Look at him, right?

SPEAKER_07

31:34 - 32:24

But... It's not wrong with me. No reading deal, so... Let me... The fuck is all alone. Come on. I can't. We have to. But it is... Yeah. I do it. No problem. It's all about doing if I have to. But I do it. Oh, the bell to me. I see. Is that a person? Please, babe, you have to help live in Caroline. You have to help them. I can't let them die here. I can't. I can't.

SPEAKER_05

33:00 - 33:05

Blair, where am I?

SPEAKER_11

33:05 - 33:12

Ah, so you've awoken. Are you hungry? Snow rabbit is meager, but filling.

SPEAKER_05

33:12 - 33:17

Yes? Thank you. Here you are.

SPEAKER_11

33:17 - 33:24

Take as much as you'd like. Your companion has already refused his share.

SPEAKER_05

33:24 - 33:28

My companion? Liam, you're all right.

SPEAKER_04

33:28 - 33:35

For now, I'd be careful with that rabbit, Oola. Some things off about this lady.

SPEAKER_05

33:35 - 33:40

You think so? She just looks like some old woman to me.

SPEAKER_04

33:40 - 33:47

Look around, you Oola. The blizzard's hitting every part of the mountain peak except for her camp, and how the hell did she get up here anyway?

SPEAKER_05

33:47 - 33:55

But she rescued us, didn't she? Then she can't be Caroline. Where's Caroline? Right here.

SPEAKER_11

33:55 - 34:08

Oh, la la. Ah, so all three of you have a woken. I've been pressed within trees like those I expected you to remain unconscious for several days.

SPEAKER_05

34:08 - 34:12

Her bandages have been changed. Did you do that, ma'am?

SPEAKER_11

34:12 - 34:23

Prescuing you from the snow would not mean much if she died of infection soon after. Humans are. terribly delicate things.

SPEAKER_04

34:23 - 34:29

Humans? Caroline, what the hell are you doing?

SPEAKER_05

34:29 - 34:39

Don't move, Caroline. You'll hurt yourself even more. Your sword, Caroline, why?

SPEAKER_10

34:39 - 34:45

You, old woman. Draw your weapon. I challenge you.

SPEAKER_11

34:47 - 35:03

What are you thinking? Put your sword down. I might do a list. Not a murderer. One of you will have to duel me before you leave this mountain top. But it will not be the injured one.

SPEAKER_04

35:03 - 35:06

Caroline, who is this lady?

SPEAKER_10

35:06 - 35:18

She is a monster god of the duel. One I hoped would become our ally in the fight against those machines from over the world's edge. A ten-goo.

SPEAKER_05

35:18 - 35:22

You mean, like the Soul Gala had a trapped in his Soulkeeper?

SPEAKER_11

35:22 - 35:55

Ah, then you must have met the human who killed my younger brother. You won't be quite as lucky I'm afraid. This Gala had, you've mentioned, don't be managed the feet through trickley. I have taken precautions to ensure the same does not happen to me. A magical lizard to deter any whom I attempt to scale my peak. An unconsciousness curse to give me the time to look through your belongings.

SPEAKER_04

35:55 - 35:56

You did hold that on your own?

SPEAKER_11

35:56 - 36:19

The tango holds great power. But as you may soon find, power is its own kind of curse. I apologize deeply. I wish it were not so. But if any of you wish to leave this mountain peak alive, one of you must duel me to the death.

SPEAKER_09

36:35 - 37:33

SPEAKER_12

37:33 - 37:35

Ah, that's so funny.

SPEAKER_00

37:35 - 37:52

So, of course, it had to go to Melissa and you all at this character because of the singing and Melissa is the most operatic singer of, certainly at least the actors that we had. She's a voice teacher.
